SEPTEMBER 26, 2025A Summer Retreat Filled with HopeThis past summer, our foundation had the joy of welcoming 65 children to a retreat in the breathtaking mountains of western Ukraine. These little ones have seen destruction, many have lost a parent, and they live each day with the heaviness of war hanging over their young heads.But for one precious week, they were simply allowed to be children again. The mountains echoed with giggles, crafts were made with bright colors, and friendships blossomed quickly. They explored nature, visited a nearby castle, and even shared the simple delight of a meal at McDonald’s.Beyond the fun, something eternal was taking place. Our volunteers guided the children in learning about Jesus through stories, songs, and prayer. What moved us most was this: when the war began, many of these children were just at the very beginning of their faith journeys. That path was interrupted by fear and loss. Yet during the retreat, their faith was rekindled. By the end of the week, they were asking for Bibles so they could continue to learn about Jesus.Out of this moment, the Bible Revival Mission was born — our commitment to place the Word of God into the hands of every child who desires it. Because faith is not only planted, but nurtured. And each Bible placed into small hands becomes a seed of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest times, God’s light still shines._Christie Citsay
